[周刊王CTWANT] 2022年ATP新生代年終賽8日起在義大利米蘭展開，台灣好手曾俊欣小組賽首戰同組最高種子、世界排名第23的地主選手穆塞提（Lorenzo Musetti），力戰三盤2比4、2比4、2比4落敗。

ATP新生代年終賽從2017年開始舉辦，僅限單打世界排名最佳的8位21歲以下選手參賽，雖然也是五盤三勝制，不過每一盤最先取得第4局的球員拿下盤數，在局數3比3平手後會進行搶七，也允許教練在每盤結束指導球員。

曾俊欣本季世界排名衝進百大，最高曾達到83名，最終也取得ATP新生代年終賽參賽席位，是台灣史上首位參賽代表，也是繼2017年冠軍、韓國選手鄭泫之後，首位參賽亞洲球員。

小組賽階段，目前世界排名第90的曾俊欣和穆塞提、世界排名第41的英國選手德拉佩爾（Jack Draper）、世界排名第111瑞士選手史垂克（Dominic Stricker）分在同一組，進行單循環賽取戰績最好的2位選手晉級4強。

首戰對穆塞提，三盤比賽曾俊欣都比對手多被破一局發球局，第三盤在關鍵第5局被破發陷入2比3，穆塞提在邁向勝利的發球局迅速取得40比0領先，曾俊欣雖救回2個賽末點，可惜最後還是敗下陣來，期待後續2場小組賽能搶下勝利。
